Wedding Cake

Our first wedding cake. It was a big task, but a lot of fun. We were happy with how it turned out. Thankfully, this is one we did together. The flowers are real.

I used a type of fondant for this cake. I covered the cake with green, and then cut out flowers and pressed them on....Andrea

Book Cake

I made this cake for the teachers at our daughter's school. This week is Teacher Appreciation week. (I used a new kind of frosting which I think I need more practice with. I had a hard time managing it. It is a type of fondant, but not made with almond paste.)....Andrea

Dog Cake

My sister-in-law and I made this cake for my mother-in-law's birthday. It's a pound cake with a LOT of frosting to build up the face, legs & tail. It resembles my mother-in-law's dog, Cody.

Mops Cake

I attend a Mothers of Preschoolers group and tomorrow is our last meeting of the year. I made this butterfly cake for the meeting.

My Husband is a Genius

These cookies were his idea. Deviled Egg Cookies. I shaped 1/2 of an egg out of sugar cookie dough and baked them. Then I frosted the bottom side (which was flat from baking) white and the put the yellow on top. Lastly, I sprinkled them with a little red sugar....Amanda
